IHG Hotels & Resorts Brings Vignette Collection to Spain

IHG's Newest Addition in Spain

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) will launch its Vignette Collection brand in Spain following a deal with Prevario Banyols and Hotel Collection International - HCI.

IHG's expansion in Spain is demonstrated by Vignette Collection Mallorca—Finca Banyols, which brings its total number of Luxury and Lifestyle hotels in the nation to nine. The hotel joins the expanding collection of Vignette Collection properties globally, expected to reach 100 hotels in ten years.

The largest of Spain's Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Alaró, is home to the historic destination of the 45-guestroom hotel, which is scheduled to open in the first half of 2025.

Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, Vignette Collection Mallorca—Finca Banyols will serve unique food in three venues: a bar, a restaurant, and a flagship dining establishment. The hotel will also have an event area, one indoor pool, and spa treatment rooms.

Vignette Collection is IHG Hotels & Resorts’ first collection brand and represents a curation of distinct hand-picked hotels, each offering one-of-a-kind stays in destinations to remember. The hotel will join a global portfolio of 24 open Vignette Collection properties, each unique in their identities yet united by the vision to offer a more authentic way to travel, backed by the reassurance of IHG’s trusted reputation and leading loyalty offer.

The Vignette Collection has rapidly grown since its introduction in 2021. Vignette Collection Mallorca—Finca Banyols is the newest addition to Europe's eight Vignette Collection properties. Three properties have already opened: The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection in the UK, Vignette Collection Casa da Companhia, and Lisbon Convent Square in Portugal.
