Taj's Next Stop: Panchkula, Haryana
The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Panchkula, Haryana. This new hotel, located in the HSIIDC IT park of Panchkula, is spread over two acres and will have 150 guest rooms with views of the Ghagghar River and Panchkula golf course.
The dining options will include an all-day restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. The hotel will also feature a 10,000 sq. ft. banqueting hall, suitable for business conferences and social events. Guests can enjoy the hotel's recreation facilities, including a swimming pool, a gym, a health club, and the J Wellness Circle, IHCL’s wellness offering.
Panchkula, a planned city in Haryana, is a satellite city of Chandigarh. Located in the foothills of the Shivalik range, it is also a starting point for visiting the renowned Mansa Devi temple and Gurudwara Nada Sahib.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have a total of 6 hotels in Haryana under the Taj, Vivanta, Gateway, and Ginger brands, including 2 under development.
