IHCL Expands Portfolio with Two New Hotels in Hosur, Tamil Nadu

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Vivanta and a Ginger in Hosur. These greenfield projects will be developed on a 3-acre land parcel.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, stated, “Hosur, driven by regional economic growth and infrastructural development, is emerging as a prime commercial center in Tamil Nadu.  The signing of these two hotels near the Hosur industrial area will meet the increasing demand for corporate travel and MICE in this thriving micro-market. We are delighted to partner with Mr. Palaniappan for these projects.” 

The 150-key Vivanta Hotel will provide an experience with decor that complements the energy of Hosur. Guests can choose from many dining alternatives, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. The hotel will feature a gym, a swimming pool, and banquet areas for business parties and gatherings. The 200-key Ginger hotel will include an all-day dining cum bar, a gym, and conference facilities.

Located near Bengaluru on the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Hosur is a fast-emerging city with multiple manufacturing, electronics, and chemical industries.

With the addition of these hotels, IHCL will have 22 hotels in total, 6 of which are under development in Tamil Nadu.
