The hotel is situated in one of the most famous beach areas in Los Angeles, only a short distance from the well-known Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, Venice Beach Boardwalk, and shopping area. Now that the hotel is a part of Hyatt's World of Hyatt loyalty program, members can accrue and use points for stays at the hotel and other World of Hyatt properties. Viceroy Hotel Group, an operating division of Highgate, will continue to oversee Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica.

The hotel's 315 guest rooms will be updated with a $16 million refurbishment

The hotel's 315 guest rooms will be updated with a $16 million refurbishment. The hotel will offer a completely new three-meal restaurant and bar, and the makeover will revitalize the approximately 15,000 square feet of conference space, which includes a 4,500-square-foot ballroom with views of the ocean on the top. Additionally, updates will be made to the foyer and guest welcome area. The full-service hotel also offers a fitness centre featuring an outdoor pool and whirlpool.
