Bridge to Brilliance: NILE Hospitality's Brand Portfolio Partnership Plan
Considering the recent partnership between the third-party hotel management company and Radisson Hotel Group to develop the Park Inn & Suites brand in Gujarat and Rajasthan, Vikram Singh Chauhan, CEO and founder of NILE Hospitality, discussed their plans to expand their portfolio through similar partnerships with other brand ownerships. Chauhan emphasized that by strategically collaborating with hotel companies, they aim to enhance their range of brands, providing more options to developers and owners.
As part of this partnership, NILE will focus on developing the mid-market brand in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Chauhan also mentioned that they actively seek similar strategic master franchisee partnerships with one or two other hotel companies to diversify their brand portfolio for asset owners and developers.
Chauhan revealed they are working on four hotel projects for the Park Inn & Suites by Radisson brand in Gujarat and Rajasthan. They anticipate finalizing these projects within a month.
Speaking about Park Inn & Suites by Radisson's unique advantage in the Indian market, Chauhan highlighted its appeal for sub-100-room hotels, a segment that had not been a priority for international hotel companies operating in India. This distinctive offering makes the Park Inn & Suites brand attractive to hotel developers.
Chauhan also noted that, apart from Wyndham Hotels, no other international brand had shown interest in signing sub-100-room inventory hotels in India, creating a gap in the market for an international brand in this space.
In tier-II and III markets, Chauhan emphasized the need for support in developing large inventory hotels, which typically range between 60 and 75 rooms. He also sees potential conversion opportunities for the Park Inn & Suites brand in these markets.
NILE Hospitality operates 22 hotels, including four Hyatt hotels, six Radisson hotels, eight Wyndham brands, and a few standalone hotels.
