Chania Hotel Crete, Vignette Collection, and Kimpton La Mer Crete, both owned by the Gelasakis Group, will debut in the country with openings expected in 2025 and 2026.
This accomplishment highlights the Group’s strategic focus on expanding in high-growth markets and establishes its status as one of India's largest international hotel operators.
With 300+ properties across 24 countries in Europe alone, the latest additions are a testament to the brand’s solid growth trajectory across the continent.
Additionally, it will become part of Holiday Inn’s global footprint, which includes 1,249 open hotels and 266 pipeline properties worldwide.
This initiative has been driven by an understanding that guests play a critical role in the efficacy and efficiency of various sustainability initiatives.
The hotel will also house multiple amenities, including a ballroom, six meeting rooms, a business centre, a spa, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool and deck.
This announcement further demonstrates Hilton’s commitment to growth in the country, following a prior agreement in 2024 to establish 150 Spark by Hilton hotels in partnership with Olive by the Embassy.
