Cygnett Hotels Expands in Northeast with New Property in Dibrugarh, Assam
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its newest property, Cygnett Inn Dibrugarh, located in Assam. The hotel is centrally positioned, offering convenient access—just 15 minutes from the Dibrugarh railway station and 25 minutes from the airport.
Cygnett Inn Dibrugarh blends comfort, affordability, and functionality with modern design elements. The property features 50 rooms across three categories, each equipped with contemporary amenities to provide guests with a convenient and relaxing stay.
Dining options include C Pavilion, a multi-cuisine restaurant with seating for up to 70 guests, and Metro Bar, a casual venue with capacity for 38, serving a range of beverages. For business and event needs, the hotel houses a small meeting room called Discussion (up to 50 guests), and a larger banquet hall named Summit, which accommodates up to 250 guests.

Cygnett currently operates five properties in Northeast India and has nine more in development. The group aims to achieve a 2,000-key presence in the region by 2029.
In addition, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has formed a strategic alliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to introduce the La Quinta by Wyndham and Registry Collection Hotels brands to the Indian market. This collaboration aligns Cygnett properties with Wyndham’s global reservation network and loyalty program, with plans to launch over 60 hotels across South Asia over the next decade.
