20 New Jets for Fly Sirius

Fly Sirius To Acquire 20 Citation Longitude Jets

Fly Sirius is currently in advanced talks with Textron Aviation to purchase twenty Citation Longitude jets for USD600 million. A source indicated that this deal is expected to be finalized within three to four months, with initial deliveries scheduled to start between one and 1.5 years after the agreement is signed. During the negotiations, Textron Aviation conducted a demonstration flight in Dubai using N902CL (msn 700-0002), one of its demonstration Citation Latitudes, which undertook various flights around Dubai World Central from January 22 to 28, 2025.

These discussions are part of the company’s initiative to raise USD 100 million and expand its fleet to 50 business jets by March 2028. The growth strategy emphasizes small—to midsize business jets and aircraft for group charter operations, focusing on Middle Eastern and Far Eastern international markets.

Fly Sirius commenced operations in July 2024 with a single Hawker 4000, which is 14.9 years old and configured to accommodate up to nine passengers. It is the only jet in the current fleet. The company is a joint venture between Airavat Aviation, a subsidiary of Dubai’s Transworld Group, and Sirius India Airlines Pvt. Ltd, associated with two former SpiceJet executives.
