The codeshare agreement signed by Air India and Swiss International Airlines makes it the first-ever Air India flight to enter the Swiss market. The flight announcement shared by Delhi Airport on social media Delhi-Zurich Connection Air India, a part of the TATA Group, will now connect India to Switzerland, marking its maiden service in the country. Boeing 787-8 is being used for the flight route which will have 18 Business Class seats and 238 Economy ones. Air India has marked its maiden service in Switzerland According to the airline's announcement, the flight will be up and running four times a week—Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flight will depart from Delhi at 14:05 and land in Zurich at 19:15, and the return flight will depart from Zurich at 20:50 and land in Delhi at 08:05. The flight will run four times a week As per Air India's website, the duration of the nonstop flight will be 8 hours 40 minutes. A Comfort Plus Economy flight ticket in August 2024 will cost ₹57,611, and a Flex Economy ticket will be ₹61,811. For the Business Class tickets, a Comfort Plus Business seat will cost ₹158,120, and a Flex Business seat will be ₹185,896.
