Air France-SNCF Partnership
In 2025, Air France and SNCF Voyageurs will commemorate three decades of collaboration. This 30-year journey is marked by innovation aimed at enhancing train access to airports and promoting low-carbon transport solutions where available. Embracing this ethos and recognizing the synergy between rail and air travel, the companies deepen their partnership by enabling Flying Blue, Air France-KLM's loyalty program members, to exchange their Miles for electronic vouchers usable on the TGV INOUI network.
Travel Vouchers with TGV INOUI
For the first time globally, Flying Blue members, part of the Air France-KLM loyalty program, can now exchange their Miles for SNCF Voyageurs vouchers through the Flying Blue Store. These vouchers, which can be in any amount selected by the customer (ranging from 25 to 100 euros), are valid across the entire TGV INOUI network for bookings at SNCF Voyageurs-authorized ticket offices and via direct sales channels from SNCF Voyageurs.
Flying Blue, Air France-KLM's loyalty program enables customers to earn Miles while travelling with Air France, KLM, or Transavia and when shopping at partner stores. Accumulated miles can be redeemed for air tickets (award tickets), invested in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), donated to charities, or used to purchase SNCF Voyageurs travel vouchers.
Thirty Years Of Partnership
For thirty years, Air France and SNCF Voyageurs have collaborated closely to provide the ‘Train+Air’ combined travel service, previously known as TGV Air. In recent years, this service has significantly expanded. It now covers 41 routes connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports, up from 28 in 2022—an increase of nearly 50% in just three years. As a result, 22 train stations across France are now directly connected to the Paris airports. Additionally, a fully digital service enables travellers to combine train journeys and flights in one booking, ensuring assistance and a seat on the next available flight or train without extra cost in case of delays.
Since 2019, over 600,000 bookings have been made using Air France's 'Train+Air' service, highlighting travellers' increasing interest in combined journeys and their wish to minimize their travel footprint when possible. In 2024, the top routes included Lyon, Lille, and Strasbourg, with customers primarily connecting to flights to North America and the West Indies.
Air France and SNCF Voyageurs are committed to enhancing intermodality between train and air travel, continuing their efforts to create more complementary offerings and provide smoother journeys for their customers.
