American Airlines Partners with Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC as Official Airline
American Airlines has entered a multiyear partnership with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC. The agreement names American as an Official Airline Partner of both teams and includes travel-related benefits for fans and AAdvantage members.
As part of the partnership, AAdvantage members will have opportunities to participate in giveaways and sweepstakes for away games, access VIP experiences, and redeem miles for tickets to matches. American will also be visible during home games and matches at Bank of America Stadium through in-stadium promotions, team websites, mobile apps, and social media. Both teams’ away travel series will feature travel summaries and behind-the-scenes content in collaboration with American Airlines.
The airline already partners with the Charlotte Sports Foundation, and this agreement extends its involvement in the city’s sports community. American will also serve as the partner airline for international travel, including staff trips and fan travel packages.
To launch the partnership, American, the Panthers, and Charlotte FC distributed 10,000 co-branded rally towels to team members and travellers at CLT on August 27.
