Air India's new route will connect New Delhi, India, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Air India will start the direct flight route on September 15, 2024, and the flight route will be operated on a daily basis.

According to sources, the route will be utilising Air India's Airbus A320neo aircraft, which has two cabin classes. The route aims to improve the connectivity between the two Asian nations as the number of travellers between the two countries have increased in significant numbers in the recent past. The flight from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport will have the duration of 5 hours and 30 minutes. The Economy ticket for the flight starts from ₹18,018, whereas Comfort Plus starts from ₹18,787 and Flex from ₹20,837. Business Class's Comfort Plus starts at ₹26,968 and Flex at 30,9423.
