The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has said that this new service will provide a seamless travel experience for tourists. The air taxi service will cover key destinations such as Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, and Khajuraho.

Ticket & Fares

Ticket prices for the air taxi service will be based on the destination and route. For instance, a trip from Bhopal to Jabalpur will cost around INR 9,000, while a journey from Bhopal to Khajuraho will be priced at INR 15,000. Travelers can choose between seat-sharing options or private charter bookings, catering to different preferences and budgets.

In addition to the intrastate air taxi services in Madhya Pradesh, India's aviation ministry is working on the Urban Air Mobility project. This ambitious plan aims to introduce air taxi services across the entire country by 2026. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has formed several technical committees to guide the project, which has garnered the interest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
