Rail Vision x Sujan Ventures

Rail Vision Ltd, a technology company dedicated to enhancing railway safety and data solutions, has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sujan Ventures, a division of the Sujan Group. Sujan Ventures specializes in providing technology and components for the Indian rail sector. Indian Railways, which manages one of the largest rail networks in the world, operates approximately 15,000 locomotives.

According to the agreement, Sujan Ventures will lead the initiative to introduce Rail Vision’s advanced safety systems to the Indian market. The collaboration will start with a trial of Rail Vision’s technology at the customer’s facilities to showcase its capabilities. If the demonstration is successful and receives customer approval, the partnership will progress to a definitive agreement to formalize their cooperation.

The MoU also states that Sujan Ventures will provide Rail Vision with an initial upfront payment, with additional expenses tied to achieving key milestones. During the MOU’s term, Sujan Ventures retains exclusive rights to negotiate and finalize an agreement to distribute Rail Vision’s solutions across India.

This partnership aims to make Rail Vision’s advanced technologies integral to upcoming tenders and ongoing rail safety projects. By equipping locomotives with state-of-the-art accident avoidance systems, especially for challenging weather conditions, the collaboration seeks to enhance operational safety across India’s vast rail network.

The future tenders are expected to require advanced safety technologies on thousands of locomotives, presenting a significant growth opportunity for Rail Vision while addressing critical safety needs within India’s rail infrastructure.
