Empowering 25,000 employees to embody the French Zest

Sofitel has teamed up with Cordelia de Castellane to create new uniforms for employees at its more than 120 hotels around the world. Cordelia uses her experience with top French luxury brands to design a collection that is modern and stylish, while also upholding standards of French craftsmanship.

This collaboration honours the teams at Sofitel hotels, which include 25,000 employees worldwide, highlighting their commitment to personalized service that embodies French hospitality. It reflects the essence of French elegance through stylish Parisian designs and a simple, sophisticated aesthetic. Rather than traditional uniforms, this approach offers a fresh expression of French chic.

This partnership is a key part of Sofitel’s growth plan. The brand will open 32 new hotels in the next three years. Each hotel will combine French style with local culture. The “Cultural Link” logo represents the connection between different cultures. The new collection will showcase the Sofitel logo in exclusive prints, creating a luxurious monogram.

The Sofitel wardrobe is flexible and designed for different roles and destinations. Cordelia de Castellane leads the artistic direction of this collection, which combines classic styles with practical needs. It includes a range of high-quality fabrics, textures, and colours that work well for both city hotels and resorts.

Each piece is made from flexible and durable materials tested in hotels around the world. These pieces meet the daily needs of hotel staff. The wardrobe fits different body types, roles, and climates, ensuring comfort and style.

Sofitel is committed to social responsibility. Each uniform is made from materials that can handle daily use while looking elegant. The uniforms feature refined details and excellent finishes.

This wardrobe highlights Sofitel’s focus on responsible luxury. It is developed with help from Paris Good Fashion, which ensures that each step of production follows rules for sustainability, repairability, and recyclability. This approach reduces environmental impact and helps manage resources responsibly.

Cordelia de Castellane, shaping the creative universe of Sofitel Vestiaire

This new collection is inspired by the creative vision of designer Cordelia de Castellane. She blends tradition with modern style. Her approach to luxury combines timeless elegance with bold creativity, mixing classic and contemporary elements seamlessly.

“The Sofitel Vestiaire is much more than a uniform: it’s a manifesto. It’s a tribute to our teams, who are the first to embody the renaissance of Sofitel. It reflects the joy of embracing a brand, the pride of being its ambassador, and the desire to wear our values in silk, knit, or cotton. We want this wardrobe to be emotionally resonant, exacting and refined, but also effortlessly chic. That’s why we needed a visionary. This partnership with Cordelia de Castellane is the meeting of two visions of luxury, united by a shared passion for exceptional design” says Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems.

“For me, Sofitel is a madeleine de Proust. It brings back childhood memories, iconic hotels, and a very specific vision of French luxury. Sofitel is more than a hotel brand — it’s a way of life, a natural elegance paired with a deep openness to the world. Paris was a major inspiration for this collection — because Paris means effortless chic, cultural richness, precision tailoring, and that uniquely bold creativity. I wanted to imagine a wardrobe that expresses this Parisian sophistication, but also the warmth of hospitality and the pride of representing a house. These are garments designed to last, to move with the body, and to make every team member feel beautiful, free, and proud” adds Cordelia de Castellane.
