Sarovar Hotels Welcomes New Leadership

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn, Sarovar Hotels has announced the addition of two new names to their leadership team. The hotel chain stated, “Thrilled to welcome Cdr. Siddhartha Gargori (Retd.) as Corporate Director of Engineering & Suranjit Sengupta as Corporate Director of F&B. Siddhartha brings 21 years of Navy experience, while Suranjit brings 18 years from Marriott, Hilton & Taj.”

Siddhartha Gargori

Gargori is a retired naval officer with over 21 years of experience in operational maintenance of electrical & weapon systems fitted onboard warships, project management of technical and green field infrastructure projects of the Indian Navy, and functional & qualitative management of ship repair organisation. He also has experience in HR, material management, training, team leading, etc. Gargori completed his BTech from the Naval College of Engineering, his PG diploma in business administration and management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, and an executive programme in business administration and management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Suranjit Sengupta

As a dedicated hotelier, Sengupta has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. He has previously worked at Marriott International (Hotel Manager; Food and Beverage Team Leader; Food and Beverage Executive; Wedding Consultant), Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces (Associate; Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage), JW Marriott (Banquet Manager; Associate Director of Events; Director of Events; Food and Beverage Manager; Director of Food and Beverage), and Hilton Bangalore (Banquets Operations Manager). He is an alumnus of IHM, Goa.
