The Government of Gujarat has announced the appointment of Rajender Kumar as the new Secretary of Tourism, Devasthanam Management, Civil Aviation & Pilgrimage Department, Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar.

Rajender Kumar is an IAS officer of Gujarat cadre from the 2004 batch. He was earlier posted at the World Bank, Washington DC, USA, for three years, and will now be joining the Gujarat Government. Kumar has also worked as a director at the Prime Minister’s Office in the past. He will be replacing Hareet Shukla for the role as Shukla has been promoted to the chief electoral officer of Gujarat.
