
Qatar Airways, the official airline of the FIFA World Cup 2026, is marking the one-year countdown with a special video campaign. This campaign takes fans on a journey as the FIFA World Cup Winner’s Trophy is flown from Lusail, Qatar, to New York. The video features football legends Roberto Baggio and Romário.
The campaign showcases Qatar Airways cabin crew on a mission to transport the Winner’s Trophy to the United States. They will hand-deliver football’s most prestigious prize to Roberto Baggio and Romário, who famously competed in the final of the FIFA World Cup in the U.S. in 1994. The aim of the campaign is to capture the excitement and heritage of what is regarded as one of the greatest tournaments in World Cup history.
