Salamander Collection has appointed Allison Dlugatz as the new managing director of PGA National Resort.

With more than two decades of hospitality experience and a proven track record of leading large teams, she joins PGA National Resort from Trump National Doral in Miami, where she served as General Manager since 2021, and where she also served as Director of Operations and Director of Catering and Conference Services during her 13-year tenure. Previously, she served in several leadership positions at the InterContinental Boston Hotel, while earlier in her career she worked with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Loews Hotels.
Earlier this year, PGA National Resort—spanning 807 acres—was acquired through a joint venture between Henderson Park, South Street Partners, and Salamander Collection, which also oversees the property’s management. Originally opened in 1981, the iconic resort recently completed a renovation exceeding $100 million, enhancing its offerings across 360 guest rooms and 99 holes of championship golf. This includes the renowned Champion Course, which has hosted the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic since 2007. Further enhancements and upgrades are currently in the planning stages.

Allison Dlugatz brings a wealth of experience in managing all aspects of resort operations, with a particular emphasis on business strategy, service enhancement, and team leadership. Known for building and guiding high-performing teams, she fosters a culture where employee engagement plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. A graduate of the University of Hartford in Connecticut, Dlugatz is originally from Middletown, New York. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, staying active, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband Jonathan, as well as with friends and family.
