Radisson Hotel Group
Radisson Hotel Group is a global hospitality firm with its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. It started as a branch of Carlson Companies, which controlled Radisson Hotels, Country Inn & Suites, and other brands. In 1994, Carlson entered a franchise deal with SAS International Hotels (SIH), and SIH began using the Radisson SAS name in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Carlson acquired 25% of SIH, which was then known as Rezidor SAS Hospitality, in 2005. Carlson acquired Rezidor Hotel Group (previously known as Rezidor SAS) in 2010. The expanded hotel firm established a new trading name, Carlson Rezidor Hotel firm, which was one of the leading hotel organizations in 2013.
