Jumeirah Group, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Thomas B. Meier as its new CEO. This appointment represents a significant milestone in the brand’s ambitious Mission 2030 strategy, which aims to double its portfolio and enhance its position as a global pioneer in luxury hospitality.

Leadership for Transformative Growth

Thomas B. Meier assumes the role during Jumeirah's transformative period, bringing decades of expertise in international hospitality.

Previously serving as Jumeirah’s Chief Operating Officer since October 2021 and most recently as Interim CEO, Thomas has played a pivotal role in achieving significant milestones, including Jumeirah’s expansion into Africa with the launch of Jumeirah Thanda Island in Tanzania and Jumeirah Thanda Safari in South Africa.

As CEO, Thomas will lead Jumeirah’s international growth plans, focusing on new markets and enhancing the brand’s reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences rooted in culture and connection. Commenting on his new role, Thomas said:
