APPOINTMENT

The Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has appointed Nikhil G Jacob as its food and beverage manager. Jacob joined the hotel a few months ago and has over eight years of expertise leading premium businesses, specializing in process development, beverage portfolios, speciality fine dining services, and improving guest experiences.

Jacob began his career at The St. Regis in Mumbai, where he quickly advanced from graduate management associate to several leadership positions, including restaurant manager for speciality restaurants and nightclubs. He has also held key positions at The Oberoi in Bengaluru and The Courtyard by Marriott in Mahabaleshwar, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to quality in the food and beverage business.

His leadership will be critical in meeting the hotel's objectives for 2024 and beyond.

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Hotel Management in Kolkata. His major accomplishments include being named Employee of the Month, directing quality assurance for numerous venues, and obtaining a Manager of the Year nomination and runner-up award.
