Tout à fait Thaï 2025: A Success in Paris
Thaï Expo: Paris Draws 10,000+ Visitors
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) successfully wrapped up the “Tout à fait Thaï 2025” festival in Paris. This two-day cultural event took place on May 24–25 at the Parc de Bagatelle and attracted more than 10,000 visitors, showcasing Thai charm in the French capital under the theme “5 Must Do in Thailand.”
The festival inspired French travelers to discover Thailand while also marking 340 years since the initial contact between Siam and France, as well as 170 years of formal diplomatic relations. Additionally, it underscored France's significance as a crucial long-haul tourism market for Thailand.
“I’m thrilled by the incredible response from the people of Paris,” said Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor.
“This turnout shows how strongly French travellers connect with Thai culture. The festival brought Thailand’s spirit to life in the heart of Paris and extended a warm invitation to experience it firsthand.”

Hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris, in collaboration with TAT and a diverse group of public and private partners, this event was a key part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. It highlighted Thai soft power through cultural experiences and impactful engagement.
The festival brought to life the “5 Must Do in Thailand” themes—Must Seek, Must Try, Must See, Must Buy, and Must Taste—across five interactive zones. A highlight was a full-scale replica of a traditional Thai floating market, where wooden boats, tropical fruits, handwoven products, and Thai sweets crafted a lively, multi-sensory environment that captured the spirit of daily life in Thailand.
Each area provided interactive experiences. In the SANEH THAI Photo Booth, visitors could capture cherished moments with picturesque Thai scenery. The SANEH THAI Café featured award-winning teas and coffees sourced from Royal Project plantations, along with exhibitions highlighting the stories behind these exceptional brews. At SANEH THAI Aromatique, attendees created herbal sachets using traditional Thai herbs, while the SANEH THAI NORA workshop offered keychain-making with beads inspired by the Nora dance of Southern Thailand. In the SANEH THAI Food area, celebrated Thai chefs showcased dishes like Tom Yum Goong, which is recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
France remains an important long-haul market for Thailand. In 2024, 720,806 French travellers visited the country. From 1 January to 20 May 2025, arrivals reached 409,125—a 19.87% increase year-on-year. Of these, 56.48% were first-time visitors, while 43.52% returned. French tourists stayed an average of 17.88 nights and made 4.44 trips on average, with Bangkok, Krabi, Surat Thani, Phuket, and Chiang Mai among the most popular destinations.
To achieve the 2025 goal of 870,000 French visitors, TAT is enhancing its strategies to draw family and luxury travelers by highlighting wellness, lifestyle diversity, and safety measures. These efforts encompass airline collaborations, significant tourism expos, the Louis Vuitton BANGKOK City Guide 2025, influencer familiarization trips, and focused marketing initiatives.
