CM M K Stalin announced in the Tamil Nadu assembly that Hosur, an industrial hub near Bengaluru, will soon have its own international airport. The announcement was made by the CM under Rule 110, and he claimed that the new airport would aid development in Hosur, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri. CM Stalin said, “I am happy to announce that Hosur will get an international airport.” The airport will have the capacity to handle around 30 million passengers annually The news is being hailed as a positive step in the state's growth.
