Telangana's Grand Plan for Health Tourism

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that his government is considering establishing a 'health tourism hub' in Hyderabad to treat various diseases. He stated that the hub will be built on 500-1,000 acres near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on the city's outskirts, attracting well-known enterprises in the field to set up operations.

Noting that many patients from West Asia travel to India for treatment, he said the government was considering developing facilities for them. Reddy addressed Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACH&RI)'s 24th Foundation Day celebrations.

Observing that a person's abilities are shown when he competes with a talented player, Reddy stated that he and the authorities are now required to labour for 18 hours since TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu took office in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

He remarked that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh should compete for development and welfare. The CM also acknowledged the late N T Rama Rao's outstanding contributions to politics and government, including implementing ground-breaking projects such as one kg of rice for two rupees.
