Thailand Launches TAT Connex
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting local and international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, and media, as well as Thailand’s tourism-related businesses, to register for its new “TAT Connex” platform ahead of the official launch on August 15, 2024. The platform welcomes all categories of KOLs, influencers, bloggers, media and celebrities to connect with 10 types of tourism-related businesses; these being: restaurants and diners, hotel accommodation and homestays, transportation, recreational activities and tourist attractions, travel agencies, health and beauty, department stores and shopping centres, activity/meeting and theatre/entertainment, and souvenir and other shops.
The platform enables influencers and businesses to explore partnership opportunities and generate tourism-related content via various social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, and X (Twitter). Ultimately, this would help inspire more travel and stimulate more tourism spending at destinations across the country.
Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said, “The TAT Connex platform is designed to bridge the online connection between influencers and businesses to generate greater publicity and promotion of Thailand’s tourism offerings. The project reflects our ongoing ‘Partnership 360’ marketing strategy and digital approach to transform Thai tourism towards more sustainable and more inclusive tourism growth.”
