J&K Tourism Launches Maiden Newsletter

The tourism department of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir has launched its very first newsletter. The announcement of the newsletter was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Jammu and Kashmir’s official tourism account.

J&K Tourism Launches Newsletter

The tourism department of the Indian state Jammu and Kashmir has launched its very first newsletter. The announcement of the newsletter was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Jammu and Kashmir’s official tourism account. The newsletter is titled J&K Vista and it was launched by Atal Dulloo, chief secretary, Jammu and Kashmir. Along with the newsletter, the Event Calendar for Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department for the year 2024-2025 was also launched. IAS Yasha Mudgal, commissioner secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism, was also presented at the launch.

Jammu and Kashmir saw 1.25 million tourists until May 15 this year

The news comes as an appreciated step in boosting Jammu and Kashmir’s booming tourism. The government of Jammu and Kashmir, in May 2024, had started its hunt for land to build five-star hotels across the state. The decision came after Jammu and Kashmir saw a record number of tourists in the area – 1.25 million just until May 15, 2024, with the number set to double in coming months.
