ERDI Group Launches Own Academy in Melbourne

Australian giant, ERDI group, has unveiled its newest venture – ERDI Academy, created with the aim of providing quality education in the field of hospitality. The institution offers four courses with Diploma of Hospitality Management as its flagship one.

ERDI Group, an Australian private collection of premium hotels and businesses in Australia, has now launched their own academic institution in Melbourne, ERDI Academy.

 Aspiring students gear up to join ERDI Academy

The establishment has been created with the aim of becoming a pioneer in hospitality awareness and education. Shedding light on the same, ERDI Group, via a LinkedIn post, shared, “We're thrilled to introduce the ERDI Academy, a new hospitality school located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Our mission is to provide the highest quality hotel management education and training, leading to permanent careers in the industry. We’re offering a Diploma of Hospitality Management as well as some short courses including RSA training and food handling.”

ERDI CEO and Executive Director Ricky Jeffs also spoke on the celebratory news; “We are thrilled to introduce ERDI Academy, a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence and community empowerment. We aim to redefine hospitality education, nurturing the next generation of industry leaders while giving back to our local community.” The academy has experienced names in its line-up with Dr Amalia Di Iorio AM and Jeffrey Appel Oam serving as the board members whereas Kathy Noonan has been named the Director for Talent & Culture, and Emma Belden as the Vocational Trainer.

So far, the academy offers four courses – Diploma of Hospitality Management, Food Safety Supervisor Training, Food Handlers Training, and RSA – Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol Training. The team has also hinted at expanding their curriculum in the future.
