IndiGo Boosts Domestic network with New Routes

IndiGo, has India’s preferred airline, has announced the launch of new domestic routes with direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Dehradun and Dehradun to Srinagar, scheduled to begin operations from February 06, 2025. These additions underscore IndiGo’s commitment to enhancing regional and domestic connectivity across India, offering more travel options for passengers. The launch of these routes provides convenient and affordable travel options for both business and leisure travellers.

Talking about this development, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said, “As we usher in the New Year, we are pleased to introduce direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Dehradun, as well as Dehradun to Srinagar. By connecting various cities across the nation with convenient timings and schedules, we continue to enhance regional and domestic connectivity. Our commitment to offering exclusive and efficient travel options underscores our dedication to serving the diverse needs of our travellers.

Bhubaneswar, known for its ancient temples and rich cultural heritage, serves as a gateway to eastern India. Travellers can explore the Lingaraj Temple, marvel at the architectural brilliance of Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves and enjoy the vibrant local cuisine. From Bhubaneswar, the airline operates over 200 weekly flights
to 18 destinations.

Dehradun, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, is renowned for its scenic beauty and educational institutions. Tourists can visit Robber’s Cave, explore the historic Forest Research Institute, and enjoy breathtaking views from Sahastradhara. Dehradun is connected with 11 destinations with over 90 weekly flights.

Srinagar, often referred to as the “Venice of the East,” is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and Dal Lake, where visitors can enjoy a serene shikara ride. The city is also home to exquisite Mughal gardens like Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, which offer stunning views and a glimpse into the region’s rich history. Additionally, Srinagar serves as a gateway to exploring the majestic landscapes of Kashmir, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. From Srinagar, the airline operates over 120 weekly departures connecting 10 destinations.
