IHG Introduces Dual-Branded Property in London

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to open a dual-branded hotel complex in Central London. The complex will include the voco hotel London – Waterloo and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo. This project is in partnership with Palm Holdings and represents an important step for IHG as it expands in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
The voco London – Waterloo is expected to open in the last quarter of 2028. This hotel will have 182 rooms and will be part of IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand. It aims to provide a unique and thoughtful experience for guests. Each voco hotel has its own charm, offering something different while ensuring the reliability of a global brand.
A new voco hotel will open alongside the first Hotel Indigo & Suites in Europe, expected to launch in the last quarter of 2028. Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo will have 172 rooms and will be part of IHG’s growing collection of luxury and lifestyle hotels, making it the second largest in the world. This hotel will offer guests a boutique experience and a memorable stay that reflects the unique character of the neighbourhood.

Guests at both hotels will have access to various shared amenities, including restaurants, bars, cafés, a gym, and a business centre, tailored to accommodate both leisure and business travellers.
Located in the Waterloo area of London, this place is just a short walk from famous attractions. You can easily visit the South Bank, which has the Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, and the National Theatre. The Imperial War Museum is right across the street, and the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are just across the river, making this area culturally rich. Many restaurants and bars are within walking distance, giving you plenty of dining and entertainment options. With Waterloo Station nearby, you can quickly access central London and other parts of the UK through regular train services.

Voco London – Waterloo will be the newest addition to the expanding portfolio of 16 existing voco hotels. This includes the recently launched voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa, and voco Winchester. In addition, Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo will enhance IHG’s portfolio, which currently features 19 open Hotel Indigo properties. Exciting upcoming openings for this brand include Hotel Indigo London – Clerkenwell and Hotel Indigo Leeds in the coming months.
