IHCL Secures New 100-Key Ginger in Kanpur, Marking Strategic Growth in Uttar Pradesh

IHCL Signs New Ginger Hotel in Kanpur

The I ndian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming 100-key hotel is a greenfield project and will be developed in partnership with JK Urbanscapes Developers Limited.

Located on Kalpi Road, near Kamala Cricket Club, the hotel offers convenient access to key business and leisure areas in the city. It will include Ginger’s Qmin dining outlet, a bar, a meeting room, and a fitness centre, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

Ms. Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President, New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, said:

“Kanpur is an important commercial and industrial city in Uttar Pradesh, making it a suitable location for Ginger. This signing supports our plan to grow the brand in emerging cities.”

Mr. Maneesh Mansingka, CEO of JK Urbanscapes Developers Limited, added:

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with IHCL. Our projects aim to support the development of Kanpur’s hospitality sector.”

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Uttar Pradesh grows to 34 hotels, including 21 under development.
