Three Cheers for Sarovar
Sarovar Hotels has increased its domestic and foreign portfolio size by announcing the inauguration of three additional locations. The brand's dedication to strengthening its local and global reach is seen in the three new properties: MJ Sarovar Portico in Haridwar, ABN Sarovar Portico in Jim Corbett, and Sarovar Portico in Birgunj, Nepal.
The first Sarovar Hotel in Nepal is Sarovar Portico, Birgunj, situated in the southeast of the nation. With 60 rooms and suites, this facility offers luxury amid the energetic city of Birgunj while incorporating a touch of traditional Nepalese hospitality. As a leisure hotel, it serves both local business and leisure guests.
In the heart of India's oldest national park, ABN Sarovar Portico, Jim Corbett provides a tranquil haven amidst picturesque surroundings. The site has 65 rooms and cottages and is 4 km from the Dhangadi Gate (Dhikala Zone).
The pilgrimage portfolio of Sarovar Hotels is enhanced by MJ Sarovar Portico, Haridwar, which is located 5 km from Har Ki Pauri. This hotel, which is ideally situated to accommodate travellers visiting Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun, has 75 rooms and suites with amenities that cater to both business and spiritual travellers' needs.
Ajay Bakaya, Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels and Director of Louvre Hotels India, commented, “The opening of these three new properties represents a significant milestone for Sarovar Hotels, expanding our global and domestic footprint. Each property is thoughtfully designed to cater to different traveller needs—whether for business (Birgunj), leisure (Jim Corbett), or spiritual (Haridwar) pursuits. With 18 new openings in the first nine months of this calendar year, we are proud to continue our tradition of superior hospitality and address the diverse needs of today’s travellers with 125 hotels across 80 destinations.”
