Raffles Brand Arrives at Lake Como 

Raffles Hotels & Resorts plans to introduce its esteemed brand to the sought-after Lake Como region, which will be Raffles’ inaugural property in Italy. Developed in collaboration with CL Hotel SPA and backed by financial partner UniCredit, Raffles Lake Como is expected to launch in 2027, merging the area's allure with the essence of Raffles.

Raffles Lake Como will be entirely renovated and transformed from the former Grand Hotel Imperiale, a stunning Art Nouveau villa constructed in the 1920s, which boasts one of the largest hotel shorelines in the region. Located on the prestigious western banks of Lake Como in Moltrasio, the hotel is just a short drive from Como and provides easy access to a private dock, serving as an ideal base for discovering the lake and its surroundings.

Raffles Lake Como will embody the sophistication of Raffles and the vibrant essence of Italian culture. Alongside the brand’s renowned butler service, the hotel will offer 84 rooms, including 18 suites and 2 villas, many with views of the lake. Guests can anticipate lakeside dining experiences, along with a signature Raffles Long Bar and Writers Bar. For leisure, the resort will provide both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa and fitness center, and a beach club. Guests will enjoy private access to the lake, featuring an exclusive arrival and check-in by water. Raffles Lake Como will also serve as an ideal venue for weddings and celebrations, as well as private social and corporate events, showcasing extensive meeting spaces, beautiful gardens, and a stunning lawn with lake views.

Raffles Lake Como will be the brand’s fifth hotel in Europe, joining Raffles London at The OWO, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, Raffles Europejski Warsaw, and Raffles Istanbul. With a commitment to expanding in key urban and leisure markets, Raffles has also recently unveiled plans for Raffles Tokyo and Raffles Goa Shiroda.
