Radisson Hotel Group's West Bengal Debut
Radisson Hotel Group has signed its first establishment in West Bengal, the Radisson Hotel Siliguri, reaffirming its commitment to international hospitality standards in new Indian markets. The hotel is set to open by Q2 2028.
Siliguri is an important commercial, transportation, and educational hub and a key gateway to Northeast India, an important focus area for the group. Situated amid the foothills of the Himalayas, the city offers easy access to renowned destinations such as Darjeeling and Dooars, catering to a wide range of travellers.
The hotel's location near Bagdogra International Airport, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, and Siliguri Junction ensures seamless connectivity for travellers from both intercity and intracity areas, as well as visitors from neighbouring nations such as Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.
Nikhil Sharma, the managing director and area senior vice president of South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group, expressed enthusiasm about the immense potential of eastern India's hospitality landscape. He highlighted the strategic focus on expanding the group's regional presence, underpinned by a long-term vision of enhancing the guest and partner experience.
