Tiny Toy, Big Dreams: Polly Pocket’s Compact Goes Life-Sized

Polly Pocket has always been pocket-sized—that is, until these last 35 years. This summer, Polly's legendary house—constructed like something out of a '90s fantasy—is only available on Airbnb for an incredible journey.

In honour of Polly Pocket's 35th birthday, the small doll is launching her two-story Slumber Party Fun compact with a vintage motif and taking reservations on Airbnb. This will create a little universe where creativity knows no limits. The pad has been thoughtfully designed to evoke fond memories for visitors while providing them with up-to-date information about the compact lifestyle.

About the Stay

Littleton, Massachusetts, is home to Polly's 42-foot-tall compact, which redefines the phrase "tiny but mighty." In honour of Polly's 1989 film premiere, guests may request to reserve one of three one-night stays, which are scheduled for September 12–14 and cost $89 per person for four people each. As they step into Polly’s world, guests can:

•Explore every nook and cranny of the iconic compact, where a few hidden surprises await

•Get ready at Polly’s vanity, stuffed with nostalgic hair and nail accessories of her favourite colours. Did someone call for press on nails?

•Check out the retro fridge and craft the snack-filled picnic every ‘90s kid wanted

•Try on the doll life for size in Polly’s closet, where her most iconic throwback looks hang, waiting to be worn in joyful hues and glossy silhouettes in the beloved signature gummy texture

•Kick back in the living room with some popcorn, a movie and plenty of pillows

•Doze off on Polly’s pullout couch or cosy up in her life-sized Action Park Tent just 10 feet away from the compact after filling up on slumber party fun

• Make custom, Polly-approved charm bracelets to match with your BFF

How to Request to Book

Would you be ready to see how Adventure fits? When the request windows finish on August 28 at 11:59 pm PT, those who are prepared to spend the day as a doll can make a reservation for a one-night stay at Polly Pocket's compact starting on August 21 at 6:00 am PT on airbnb.com/pollypocket.

But there's still more! If dolls and fans of the nineties cannot make reservations, there is still another way to see Polly Pocket's life-sized compact. From September 16 to October 6, Polly will also open her house to 21 adventures, each accommodating up to 12 guests for a daily journey suitable for a doll. At airbnb.com/pollypocketplaydate, interested parties may make reservations for this experience beginning on August 21 at 6:00 am PT and ending on August 28 at 11:59 pm PT, when request periods end.
