Marriott International and MGM Resorts International will convert a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip to the W Hotels brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, marking the brand's ongoing evolution. W Las Vegas is expected to complete its conversion later this year, marking the latest milestone in its long-term strategic licensing deal signed in July 2023.

Since the formal debut of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy in March 2024, reservations have far exceeded expectations, with hundreds of thousands of room nights already booked. With this agreement between two trusted hospitality brands, more than 200 million Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to enjoy exclusive advantages and redeem points at MGM Resorts properties. MGM Rewards members, on the other hand, can match their level and receive member perks across Marriott's global range of nearly 9,000 properties.
The hotel, situated on the Mandalay Bay Campus, will formally become a part of the W Hotels collection later this year. Later on, further details about the property's intentions will be revealed. W Las Vegas will join the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, which will now include 12 locations on the Las Vegas Strip. These include, but are not limited to, Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino; ARIA Resort & Casino; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas; and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM Collection.
