Garner Makes Entrance in Italy
IHG Hotels & Resorts is broadening its midscale conversion brand, Garner Hotels, in Southern Europe. It will start by rebranding a property from the Pacini Group to Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia. This adjustment underscores IHG’s commitment to improving its midscale options in Italy. Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia will join an expanding global pipeline featuring over 88 Garner properties. It offers a conversion brand with a flexible and uniquely different guest experience, leveraging the Pacini Group's established market presence.
Launched in 2023 as IHG's 19th brand, Garner Hotels offers a new choice in Italy's midscale conversion market. Capitalizing on IHG’s global presence in the essentials category and its track record in developing conversion brands, Garner Hotels has quickly become popular among owners worldwide. These owners value the brand's adaptability and solid returns, bolstered by IHG’s significant operational strengths.
The conversion of the Pacini Group hotel into Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia exemplifies how owners can leverage IHG’s enterprise platforms effectively. This includes tapping into global expertise, cutting-edge technology, revenue systems, and the major loyalty program, IHG One Rewards, which has over 130 million members.
Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia is conveniently located just west of Rome along Via Aurelia, providing visitors with a relaxed stay while offering easy access to Fiumicino Airport, Vatican City, the Trastevere district, and other key attractions in the historic centre. In January 2025, the Pacini Group completed an extensive renovation, reimagining the hotel as a destination celebrated for its innovative, cozy, and minimalist decor. Guests can enjoy an experience in one of the 58 rooms, equipped with amenities and a range of on-site facilities, including a restaurant and bar, an outdoor terrace, and meeting rooms.
Committed to providing guests with a comfortable experience at an exceptional value, each Garner Hotels location highlights key offerings: locations, beds, Wi-Fi, service, 24/7 bean-to-cup coffee, and a greeting at check-in. Plus, guests can enjoy snacks from the Garner Shop at any time.
