Miiro's European Expansion
InterGlobe's new lifestyle hotel brand, Miiro, is expanding its portfolio with the addition of The Mansard in Gstaad. This marks its entry into Switzerland and establishes it as an essential player in the European hospitality sector. The Mansard will join existing Miiro hotels in Paris and Barcelona, with new properties set to open in London and Vienna in 2025. Launched in June 2024, Miiro is a distinctive collection of individually designed hotels in the heart of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
The 29-room hotel is in the heart of Gstaad, a ski destination in the Swiss Alps. Overlooking Gstaad’s renowned promenade, The Mansard provides an atmosphere surrounded by boutiques, luxury shopping, and gourmet dining, all just a short stroll away.
The hotel's rooftop bar provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Meanwhile, the restaurant highlights the best local ingredients from the Bernese Oberland. The property is open year-round and features a sauna, Miiro's signature Refresh Room, and ski storage facilities.
Travellers from India often seek out unique experiences, and The Mansard in Gstaad offers a charming and romantic escape. This destination combines alpine luxury with modern comforts, providing stunning views and exceptional hospitality. The Mansard is ideal for discerning Indian travellers looking for an unforgettable experience in one of Switzerland's most picturesque settings.
Neena Gupta, CEO at Miiro and Executive Director-Group Strategy and International Hospitality for InterGlobe Enterprises, comments: “We are thrilled to be welcoming The Mansard into the Miiro collection this winter, as we continue to explore new opportunities to grow the brand in interesting neighbourhoods across Europe. Like all Miiro hotels, The Mansard will offer Brilliantly Considered stays that champion local partners, friendly service, and the opportunity for our guests to recharge while also becoming a welcoming spot for locals and visitors to enjoy, whether it’s for a morning coffee or evening drinks at the rooftop bar”.
