The opening of InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue has been announced by InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, a part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' luxury and leisure portfolio. The brand is making its Pacific Northwest debut with this 208-room hotel, which is part of Fortress Development's $1 billion+ Avenue Bellevue development.
With views of Seattle's downtown and Lake Washington, the InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue is positioned to grow into one of the city's most popular tourist destinations.
General manager Haje Roger Thurau, a 30-year veteran of international hospitality, stated, "We welcome guests with extraordinary amenities and contemporary comforts, reflecting Bellevue's unique charm and the brand's legacy of luxury."
An Urban Oasis
Bellevue's natural beauty inspired the design, which features neutral colour schemes and organic aesthetics. The lobby features a marble front desk and an abstract picture of Pacific Northwest landscapes. The chandelier of the hotel's cocktail lounge, CE LA VI Bellevue, is entirely composed of blown glass by hand. There are 190 guestrooms, 18 suites, and family rooms available, one of which is the presidential suite, which spans 2,000 square feet and has two beds.
Events & Occasions
The conference centre, which spans two stories and is connected to the hotel via a sky bridge, has 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. This property has nine rooms, including a 4,250-square-foot grand ballroom and a 2,275-square-foot junior ballroom, and is designed for high-end meeting and event planners. The Conference Centre is made for gatherings, and its solitary entrance point guarantees total seclusion. The Avenue Luxe package includes chef-driven dishes, a seamless arrival experience, and exclusive onsite vendor connections and is available to wedding parties.
Inspired Experiences
One of only three in the area, InterContinental Bellevue's Les Clefs d'Or certified concierge team creates specially designed guest experiences. These experiences include private seaplane excursions with views of Lake Washington, the Cascade Mountains, Snoqualmie, and Sammamish and exclusive Woodinville Country Wine Tours with winemaker meet-and-greets and hands-on workshops.
Superior Culinary Experience
The centre of the complex is CE LA VI Bellevue. It's a cocktail club and café with a touch of Paris. As a social hub, it serves daily high tea and a range of whiskey, international wines, and cocktails made by award-winning mixologist Marie Yoshimizu. Fresco offers breakfasts that highlight the unique flavours of the Pacific Northwest by fusing locally sourced ingredients with global influence.
