Through their Ekyam platform, the goal is to achieve a portfolio of 25 hotels by 2025. Ekyam will primarily pursue opportunities in destinations that offer adventure experiences across the Indian Ocean and Greater Himalayan regions and wildlife escapes. The companies are collaborating on the Ekyam platform to manage hotels in the Himalayas and the Indian Ocean regions, while also strengthening the wildlife sector. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL expressed his enthusiasm, stating that IHCL and CG Hospitality have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for over two decades. He added that this collaboration will drive accelerated growth in the Indian Subcontinent, promising a bright future for both organizations.
