Hyatt Opens First Hotel in Croatia

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened its first hotel in Croatia, the Hyatt Regency Zadar, marking an important step in its growth in Europe. Located on the Adriatic coast and close to Zadar’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, the hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere for travellers exploring local sights. Hyatt Regency Zadar features 133 guestrooms and suites, each designed to highlight Zadar’s famous sunsets, blending yellow, gold, and orange hues with the turquoise and emerald colours of the Adriatic Sea. In addition to events, guests can relax at Lavanda Spa, a 12,432-square-foot (1,155-square-meter) retreat with indoor and outdoor heated pools, a sauna, a steam room, a hammam, hot tubs, and treatment rooms. Notable treatments include the Maraška body ritual, inspired by cherries from Zadar, and products from luxury brand Omorovicza and HydraFacial services. For relaxation outside the hotel, the Beach Day Experience provides transfers or a boat ride to a nearby coastal town, where guests can enjoy private cabanas and dining on the beach along the Adriatic.
