With its 700 meters above sea level location, the hotel provides a peaceful haven amid Bandung's vegetation and early-morning mists. The hotel's design, which was influenced by the Sundanese phrase "Dagoan," which means "to wait," captures the warmth visitors can anticipate when exploring the Dago Pakar neighbourhood.

The hotel's decor incorporates Traditional Sundanese symbols, waterfalls, and local stories from the nearby Tangkuban Perahu mountain. Bandung batiks are also featured. The lobby, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and 277 rooms and suites, provides a view of the countryside.

Among the extra features is the tallest rooftop infinity pool in Bandung

Guests at Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar can enjoy a range of culinary experiences that highlight regional flavours as well as food from around the world, such as:

  • Joempa, the hotel's main restaurant, serves savoury and spicy West Javan cuisine that perfectly captures the spirit of the Dago Pakar neighbourhood. Diners can enjoy batagor, fried tenggiri fish dumplings served with peanut sauce, and cuanki, a Sundanese broth rich in protein. The restaurant focuses on using fresh, in-season foods that are obtained from nearby farms and spice gardens. It serves visually appealing and delicious dishes, utilizing contemporary cooking methods and providing options for family-style sharing.
  • Dagoan Lounge offers a setting for snacks and drinks while capturing the spirit of the neighbourhood. Its warm, inviting vibe implores guests to stay and socialize. Dagoan Lounge's design and concept combine neighborhood-inspired features such as vibrant mural art, flamboyant graffiti, traditional gerobak booths, and batik pottery to create a charming yet art deco atmosphere. The lounge is a great spot to relax and enjoy the views of the hills because of its cozy seating and décor, which capture the essence of the neighbourhood.
  • Karbon, the rooftop restaurant and bar, will open later this year. It will feature an Asian grill and smokehouse concept, regionally inspired drinks like Bandrek and Bajigur, and fun takes on Sundanese cocktails made with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit sourced locally.

Dago Pakar, located in northern Bandung, is a botanical hillside surrounded by tea plantations, forests, and waterfalls

Among the other facilities are the highest rooftop infinity pool in Bandung, with views of Dago Pakar, and the Kancil Club, where kids can play and participate in traditional Sundanese sports and activities. Later in the year, a Grand Ballroom with technology and nine conference rooms will be ideal for everything from small weddings to giant parties.

The hotel features 277 Rooms and Suites

Surrounded by forests, tea plantations, and waterfalls, Dago Pakar is a botanical paradise situated on a hillside in Bandung's northern region. Because of its deft blending of European and Sundanese cultures, this area is called the "Paris of Java". Travellers can take in the sights just outside the hotel, like hiking up Tebing Keraton, one of Bandung's tallest peaks, to see the dawn, or they can take a tour of Taman Hutan Raya Juanda, the city's botanical gardens, which is just a 30-minute high-speed rail ride from Jakarta.

The hotel is close to Djuanda Forest Park, a botanical park and conservation area

Furthermore, the hotel is close to Djuanda Forest Park, a botanical and conservation area with over 2,500 plant kinds and endangered wildlife. Because of its location, guests may enjoy the vibrant folk-art scene, interact with creatives, artists, singers, performers, and authors, and observe the vibrant local populace while dining on Indo-Dutch cuisine like pisang molen (banana wrapped in baked flour).
