Eco Hotels and Resorts Ltd., a green hospitality hotel chain, announced plans to open a new property in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, to expand into tier-2 and tier-3 cities. According to their statement, the mid-segment hospitality company is expected to finalize the deal for the 48-room property next week.

The company said it is expanding eco-friendly hospitality with key locations across India, including Kota, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mysuru, and Cochin, as demand for green properties is rising in metros, tier-2, and tier-3 cities. Last month, the company signed deals to open hotels in Tirupati, Mysore, and Nagpur.

Additionally, the company will operate under the EBOT model to further support its carbon-neutral initiatives and plans to open pure vegetarian hotels in response to customer preferences.
