Dusit Foods, a subsidiary of Dusit International, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Green House Co., Ltd., a prominent player in Japan's food industry. This partnership aims to accelerate the growth of Epicure Catering Co., Ltd., a leading provider of food and beverage services to the international school sector in Thailand. The agreement focuses on expanding Epicure's current operations and broadening its reach to include healthcare facilities, corporate clients, and airlines, both domestically and internationally.
As part of the agreement, Green House, in collaboration with Sumitomo Corporation, will create a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to acquire a 20% stake in Epicure Catering. Dusit Foods will retain a 70% share while existing Epicure shareholders will hold the remaining 10%.
Green House has over seventy years of experience in food services across the corporate, healthcare, and education sectors. The company also manages restaurants and ready-to-eat food options, health service applications, kitchen consulting, and food distribution. Serving over one million meals daily, Green House offers more than 4,000 menu items designed to meet the highest standards of quality and safety, following the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) framework.
Green House previously collaborated with Dusit International to provide consultancy services for Dusit Thani Kyoto, the first Dusit Thani branded hotel in Japan, in 2023. The success of this partnership highlighted the opportunity to extend their collaboration beyond the hospitality sector into the food industry.
