Choice Hotels International, Inc. has announced that the J.D. Power 2024 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study has ranked WoodSpring Suites as the top economy extended stay brand.

As of the end of Q2 2024, WoodSpring has 246 locations open across the United States, with another 264 in development

For the third year, WoodSpring Suites emerged victorious from the survey, being named the top economy extended stay brand in 2023 and the top economy hotel brand overall in 2022. WoodSpring is a brand-new building company that provides longer-term visitors with a friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced weekly and monthly suites that are roomy and intelligently planned, complete with in-room kitchens.

Choice expects to open its 500th extended-stay hotel before the end of the year

WoodSpring has 246 open locations nationwide by the end of Q2 2024, and another 264 will be under development. Along with MainStay Suites, Suburban Studios, and Everhome Suites, it is one of Choice's four extended-stay brands. Choice, a well-established leader in this competitive market, is expected to open its 500th extended-stay hotel by the end of the year.

The J.D. Power North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study assesses total customer satisfaction through performance

In its 28th year, the J.D. Power North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study evaluates performance in six areas to determine total consumer satisfaction: staff service, value for money, food and beverage, guest room, hotel facility, and communications and connectivity. The 2024 study is based on answers from 39,468 branded hotel customers for stays between May 2023 and May 2024 and evaluates the performance of 103 brands across nine market sectors.
