The property features the exclusive Higashiyama Onsen, a cherished natural hot spring, highlighting Banyan Tree Group's commitment to cultural preservation and sustainable practices.

The hotel in Kyoto features a unique Noh theatre stage designed by the acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma. Located in the spiritual Ryozen area of Higashiyama, this stage is an architectural marvel that harmonizes the physical and spiritual realms. It showcases performances ranging from traditional Nohgaku—recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage—to modern artistic expressions.
