Flurys Frenzy: Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels' Growth Spurt

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL), a Kolkata-based hospitality group, has big plans for its iconic patisserie, Flurys. The company aims to add 50 new Flurys outlets annually for the next 4-5 years. Flurys, a 96-year-old brand from Park Street in Kolkata, currently has over 80 outlets across India.

In Q4 FY24, the company had a revenue of ₹155 crore, an 8.1% increase year-on-year, and a profit after tax of ₹18 crore, a 72% increase, with 34% margins

Director Vijay Dewan said, "We are currently operating 82 Flurys outlets. Flurys is a heritage brand from Calcutta known for its confections, coffee, and celebrations. We plan to expand to about 100 outlets by the end of the year's first half and then to 120 outlets by the end of this financial year."

Dewan emphasized, "In the future, we have a solid plan to add 50 Flurys outlets virtually every year to 350 outlets over the next four to five years. What is significant about the Flurys brand is that it provides for robust growth."
