Anantara Kihavah Hosts Krug's Unique Tasting Event
Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas recently hosted the first-ever underwater tasting of Krug Champagne, a celebration of Global Champagne Day.
Krug’s President, Manuel Reman, attended the event at Anantara Kihavah’s iconic SEA Underwater Restaurant to share insights and stories from the historic Champagne House. This provided guests with the opportunity to engage with Krug's legacy and artistry.
At the dinner, guests were treated to a seven-course menu showcasing various flavours and presentations. Each course was paired with selections from Krug’s collection of Champagnes, highlighting the Krug Grande Cuvée among them. As they savoured each bite, attendees were captivated by the views provided by SEA’s glass-walled underwater dining space. Surrounded by marine life, the atmosphere was enchanting and luxurious, creating a backdrop for the culinary experience.
