Accor is backing Nedd Brockmann as he takes on 'Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge' at Sydney Olympic Park next month.
Ned Brockmann, an Australian athlete and philanthropist, has captured the nation's heart with his campaign to raise awareness and funds for homelessness. He will attempt to break the world record for the fastest 1,000-mile run by covering 160 kilometres per day for 10 consecutive days (October 3 – 13) at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. His goal is to raise $10 million for people experiencing homelessness.
Accor, as the official Accommodation Partner of ‘Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge’, will provide Nedd with a comfortable hotel room right by the track, just 20m from the action at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. The room will be equipped with a selection of ibis hotel amenities, offering him a comfortable space to rest, recover, and sleep after each gruelling day.
Accor will also accommodate Nedd’s support team at its nearby ibis Sydney Olympic Park hotel, ensuring his team has all the essentials they need to assist him in his record-breaking attempt.

Last week, Accor celebrated the 50th anniversary of its ibis brand by launching a new global campaign called "Go get it." This campaign reflects ibis' mission of making travel accessible to all, encouraging travellers like Nedd to confidently pursue their goals and passions.
“Nedd truly embodies the ibis Go get it spirit,” adds Adrian. “Go Get It celebrates the intention that inspires our travel and encourages people, both our guests and our team members, to leave their mark on the world and have the world leave its mark on them. Nedd is abundant, and we are proud to support him.”
Nedd also encourages others to get involved by joining "Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge." In this challenge, participants set their own goals that push them out of their comfort zones for 10 days, from October 20th to 29th.
