The aircraft features 312 seats, comprising 32 Business Class lie-flat seats (1-2-1 layout), 21 Premium Economy seats (2-3-2 layout), and 259 Economy seats (3-3-3 layout). Passengers benefit from wider aisles, high ceilings, upgraded in-flight entertainment, improved lighting, faster Wi-Fi, and ergonomic seating.
Muscat is among the first cities in the region to receive the Emirates A350, which already flies to Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Amman, Edinburgh, Mumbai, Tunis, Colombo, and Ahmedabad. Emirates currently has seven A350S in its fleet and plans to expand the A350 network to 17 cities by year-end.
To meet high summer demand, Emirates has also added two extra flights per week to Muscat on Thursdays and Saturdays. EK862 departs Dubai at 7:55 am and arrives in Muscat at 9:05 am, with EK863 returning from Muscat at 11:25 am and landing in Dubai at 12:30 pm.
